About Ringvaart
The Ringvaart is a canal in the province of North Holland, the Netherlands. The Ringvaart is a real circular canal surrounding the Haarlemmermeer polder and forms the boundary of the Haarlemmermeer municipality. Ringvaart is also the call of the dike bordering the canal. Construction of the canal commenced in 1839 because the first step to reclaim land from Haarlemmermeer Dutch for Haarlem's Lake. Thousands of worker's dug a canal through the present land, as a lot as viable intently following the lake's contour.
