About Planks Wambuis
Planks Wambuis is a nature reserve on the Veluwe that is largely covered with forest and heath. One section still comprises of open float sand. In the territory are likewise old rural land, some entombment hills and the village of Mossel. The nature hold is 2284 ha and is overseen by Natuurmonumenten. It is situated in the region of Ede, west of National Park De Hoge Veluwe. It is mostly restricted, halfway converged by significant streets: N224, N310 and A12. By ecoducts enhanced biological association with adjoining regions. The ecoduct Jac. P. Thijsse on the A12 gives an association Reijerscampin the south and ecoduct Oud Reemst on the N310 furnishes a connection with the Hoge Veluwe in the east.
The zone is unreservedly available on streets and ways, except for the resting territory. There are four climbing trails and ious push ways through the region. The most astounding point is situated in the northwest at 50.3 m above ocean level and appreciates vantage Valenberg. Here one watches out finished a heath valley with a perspective of Kootwijk, Otterlo and Arnhem. Different perspectives are Oud Reemst and Nieuw Reemst.
