About Peace Palace
Peace Palace is the seat of the International Court of Justice, the main legal organ of the United Nations not situated in New York, and the Permanent Court of Arbitration. This lovely Neo-Renaissance style building, which was really the triumphant plan of a design rivalry in the mid nineteen hundreds, and the associations it houses have given The Hague overall acknowledgment as the international city of Peace and Justice.
The Eternal Peace Flame consumes close to the passage to the Peace Palace. The primary peace fire in the Netherlands was set adjacent to the passageway doors to the Peace Palace on 18 April 2002. The landmark bears the engraving: "May all creatures discover peace".
