Lichttoren

The Lichttoren, right in the point of convergence of Eindhoven, was one of the essential noteworthy creation goals of Philips. For an impressive period of time, times of pros have found a workplace in this light assembling plant, the most prepared bit of which dates from 1911. The splendidly lit turret where the lights were attempted was believed to be the reference purpose of Eindhoven, an unmissable noteworthy point for the visitor of the city.

From the second half of the seventies Philips moved its creation activities to a basic degree elsewhere; first in Europe, later to countries in the Third World. Finally, the past splendid light creation line - now used as an office complex - was in like manner surrendered in '98.
