About Huis te Manpad
The Huis te Manpad is a historic country property at Herenweg nine in Heemstede, North Holland. The country Property became first noted in 1558. Pieter Cornelisz. Heuts commissioned in 1630 to build the primary constructing this is still there nowadays. In 1666, Daniel Lestevenon bought this house from him.
After his death, his spouse Elisabeth Gillon extended the country property by way of shopping the neighboring Het cleyne Huys in Manpat. In 1675 the united states of america estate became sold to the Amsterdam service provider Cornelis van Goor. In 1708 he expanded Huis te Manpad by means of shopping a bit of land and a residence with the call de Capel. The residence become substantially renovated round 1720. After 1720, Mr. Wigbold Slicher have become the brand new owner of the estate. Dirk van der Meer rebuilt and embellished the u . S . Estate round 1730 yet again. Van der Meer's widow, Debora Elias, commissioned landscape architect Adriaan Speelman around 1741 and 1742 to construct a brand new garden with a larger ground ground. In 1767, Elias bought the estate to David van Lennep, who further expanded the house.
