The City Hall, Kampen is a town corridor in Kampen, Overijssel. The neo-classical constructing for the government offices are used for weddings and different legit court cases. The rear of the constructing is the old Gothic town corridor this is in use as the local museum of Kampen. Precise dates for the antique part of the building are not available, but diverse decorations may be dated, maximum drastically the fire in the sheriffs’ courtroom, which changed into made among 1543 and 1554 by way of the sculptor Jacob de Nole.
He changed into from the Southern Netherlands but moved to Utrecht from 1530 onwards. By the 19th century, the city hall had become cramped and a new neo-classical addition became built at the stop. For this the old renaissance gate had to be deconstructed and the painter Cornelis Springer captured it in a nostalgic painting in 1832. This is the satisfactory region to visit in this town.
