Baarn

Baarn is a municipality and a city within the Netherlands, within the province of Utrecht. The municipality of Baarn includes the following towns: Baarn, Eembrugge, Lage Vuursche. Baarn, the main city of the municipality, obtained city rights in 1391. The metropolis lies approximately 8 km east of Hilversum. In 2001, the metropolis of Baarn had a population of twenty-two,871. The urban place of the town become 4.Sixty six km2, and consisted of 10,076 residences.

The royal own family owns numerous houses round Baarn. The Soestdijk Palace in Baarn changed into the home of Queen Emma, Queen Juliana and Juliana's husband prince Bernard.
