About Banepa
Banepa is a region and verifiable town. It is a valley arranged at around 4,800 ft above ocean level in focal Nepal which is at around 25 kilometers east from Kathmandu. The principle fascination of Banepa is the sanctuary of Chandeshwori, found around 1 km upper east of the town along the Rudramati River. Banepa is additionally known for its 8 unique sanctuaries of Lord Ganesh, Narayanthan, the sanctuary of Lord Narayan, Bhimshenthan, the sanctuary of Lord Bhimshen and 8 distinct lakes.
A portion of the old names of Banepa were Banepur, Baniyapur, Banipur. As it had exchange association with Tibet from old period, Banepa is otherwise called "Bhont", "Bhonta", "Bhon dey". Banepa is the blend of two words i.e. "Bane" signifies 'Business' and "Dad" signifies 'Place'. In this way, "Banepa" signifies 'Place of Business'.
