About Omusati
Omusati region is one of the fourteen areas of Namibia, its capital is Outapi. The location's call Omusati, comes from the Oshiwamo phrase 'omusati' which means 'Mopane'. Mopani tree is the dominant species within the location; the Makalani fingers lower swiftly westwards from the border with Oshana vicinity. The change in flora type reflects ecological conditions forming a natural boundary among the two regions. The northern a part of this place is a ways more densely populated than the south, where the grazing is of terrible nice and the water typically saline.
This is predominantly an agricultural place wherein mahangu is cultivated effectively. A canal includes water from the Ruacana river to Oshakati, passing thru Outapi. Water from this canal has been used to irrigate a huge, government-run farm at Etunda in which vegetation from maize to watermelon to bananas are grown. The electrical network covers towns together with Outapi, Ruacana, Tsandi, Oshikuku, and Okahao.
