Sitagu Buddhist Academy

Set up in 1994 to educate the brightest young monks, this academy is a major intellectual center for Theravada Buddhism. The centerpiece is a Sanchi-style hemispherical stupa, gilded and embossed with Dharma-wheel patterns. The cloudless blue sky looking even bluer against the pink and white Sitagu Buddhist Academy building with its golden dome.

In the encompassing arcade are photographs of Asia's extraordinary Buddhist locales, frequently appeared as occasion style snaps highlighting the college's originator priest U-Nyan Nate Tara. It's very delightful and all around kept up, similar to the sprawling grounds where the priests live and consider. You can visit, explore and experience this place.
