Sandamuni pagoda

The Sandamuni Pagoda is organized toward the southeast of Mandalay Hill and looks to some degree like the neighboring Kuthodaw pagoda on account of the broad number of thin whitewashed subordinate stupas on the grounds. The Sandamuni Pagoda, or Paya, is orchestrated toward the southeast of Mandalay Hill and looks to some degree like the close by Kuthodaw pagoda as a result of the goliath number of thin whitewashed partner stupas on the grounds.

The Paya is in like way celebrated for the Iron Buddha Sandamani cast by King Bodawpaya of the Konbaung tradition in 1802, and which King Mindon and passed on from Amarapura to his new pagoda and consecrated place in 1874.
