About Naypyidaw Zoological Gardens
The Naypyidaw Zoological Gardens situated in Naypyidaw is the biggest zoo in South East Asia. Situated on the Yangon-Mandalay expressway around 400 km north of Yangon, the 612-section of land 247-hectare zoo opened its entryways on Myanmar's Armed Forces Day 27 March in 2008 with around 420 creatures trucked in from the Yangon Zoological Gardens.
