About Kayah
Kayah State is a kingdom of Myanmar. Situated in japanese Myanmar, it is bounded on the north through Shan State, at the east by means of Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, and at the south and west with the aid of Kayin State. It lies approximately among 18° 30′ and 19° 55′ north latitude and among ninety six° 50′ and ninety seven° 50′ east longitude. The vicinity is 11,670 km2. Its capital is Loikaw. The envisioned population in 1998 turned into about 207,357, in keeping with UNICEF.
It is inhabited often by the Karenni ethnic institution, also called Red Karen3 or Kayah, a Sino-Tibetan human beings. Karenni States is the call formerly given to a group of states that protected Kantarawadi, Kyebogyi and Bawlake. These states had been positioned south of the Federated Shan States and east of British Burma. According to the 1930 census, the states had a complete population of fifty eight,761 with Kantarawadi, 30,677, Kyebogyi, 14,282 and Bawlake, 13,802.
