Walk through Medersa Abu al-Hassan
About Walk through Medersa Abu al-Hassan
Connected to the eminent Grand Mosque, this medersa, by the mosque's amazing passageway door, is a feature of the heavenly Merenid design and embellishing expressions. Both it and the mosque date from the principal half of the fourteenth century and were appointed by Almohad Sultan Abu al-Hassan.
The medersa appears as a restricted yard encompassed by a display, and each accessible surface is encrusted in perplexing zellij, cut stucco or exquisite cedar woodwork. Small understudy cells encompass the exhibition on the upper floor, from where an individual can move through an opening to the level rooftop, which has phenomenal perspectives of Salé and crosswise over to Rabat. The gatekeeper who demonstrates visitor around will expect a little tip.
