About Castelo Real
Castelo Real was a Portuguese chateau built up in Mogador, present day Essaouira (Morocco), by the Portuguese in 1506. The working of the post was firmly restricted by nearby Berbers and Arabs. Other Portuguese chiefs summoned the palace: Francisco de Miranda and Dom Pedro de Azevedo. On 12 May 1510, the lord named Nicolau de Sousa as never-ending authority, yet the mansion was before long assumed control by the neighborhood Berbers, and in December 1510 the fort must be deserted and the battalion migrated at Safi. This is one of the historical place in the city.
The mansion was then possessed sporadically by the neighborhood Berbers. The stronghold shows up in different consequent reports, as late as 1767 with the guide of Theodore Cornut. Before long anyway the strongholds of Essaouira were refreshed to end up what they are today, and all hints of the Castelo Real have vanished. The Castelo Real was completely annihilated in the eighteenth century, following the plans to manufacture the Essaouira city and strongholds by Mohammed ben Abdallah.
