About Valle de Bravo
Valle de Bravo is a town and district situated in State of Mexico, Mexico. It is situated on the shore of Lake Avandaro, roughly 156 km southwest of Mexico City and west of Toluca. It takes around 2 hours to drive from Mexico City to Valle de Bravo, making it a prominent end of the week escape for the capital's rich high society. The town has a few names amid its history including San Francisco del Valle de Temascaltepec, Temascaltepec de indios, Villa del Valle, and San Francisco del Valle. The first names incorporating Temascaltepec caused perplexity with the close-by "Genuine de Minas de Temascaltepec", presently Temascaltepec, so the district was known as "El Valle" The Valley.
In 1971, Valle de Bravo was known as run of the mill city ciudad tipica and otherworldly town pueblo magico in 2005.
