About Temoac
Temoac is a town in the Mexican province of Morelos. The town fills in as the civil seat for the encompassing district, with which it shares a name. Temoac originates from Nauhtl and means Temog-a slide, Atl water, Ko qualifier of spot; "place where water dives". The district has the accompanying limits: toward the north with the regions of Yecapixtla and Zacualpan de Amilpas; toward the south with Jonacatepec and Jantetelco; toward the west with Ciudad Ayala and toward the east with the State of Puebla. The district detailed 15,844 inhabitants in 2015 registration.
In pre-Hispanic occasions, the locale where the Municipality of Temoac is found today was tributary to the Acolhuas of Texcoco, later to the Triple Alliance shaped by the Mexicas, Acolhuas andTepanecas. Later in the provincial time frame, a few sugar bequests were worked in the area. El Trapiche de Chicomocelo, built up around the year 1600 in the town of Tlacotepec, was a piece of the acquisitions made by the Society of Jesus, a religious who in only 69 years possessed 82 haciendas. Regardless of the advantages that the abuse of the stick created, the trapiches processing plants were wrecked by the Maximum School of San Pedro and Pablo in 1732 and changed to wheat generation.
