Ocuituco

Ocuituco is a town in the Mexican province of Morelos and the head district of the towns of Ocuituco, Huejotengo, Huecahuaxco, Huepalcalco, Metepec, and Ocoxaltepec, just as various settlements with less than 300 inhabitants. The name originates from Nauhua Okuiltoco and means where there are weevils. Its one of the 36 regions of the province of Morelos. Toward the north of Ocuitico is Mexico State, southeast is Zacualpan, east is Tetela Del Volcan, and southwest is Yecapixtla. It is viewed as one of the districts of the "Los altos de Morelos" Morelos good countries. The region revealed 18,580 inhabitants in the year 2015 statistics.

Amid Pre-Hispanic occasions, Ocuituco was occupied by Olmecs-Xicalancas, and after the Spanish Conquest, Hernan Cortes got the accommodation of the Cacique of Ocuituco.
