Museo Pedro Coronel

The Museo Pedro Coronel is a Mexican craftsmanship gallery arranged in the city of Zacatecas. It was established in 1983 and is given to the display of the accumulation given by the Zacatecan painter that involves craft of particular periods and nations. The historical center is situated in the previous Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion or Colegio Grande established by the jesuitas in the 17^th century. Around the center of the 18^th century was rebuilt, and after 1776 Expulsion of the Jesuits was given to the dominicos.

In the 19^th century was utilized like emergency clinic, garisson huts and jail, utilize that had until the 1960s. In 1974 was performed works of salvage and rebuilding in the structure with means to distribute it to social exercises. In 1983 the painter Pedro Coronel gave his aesthetic gathering and acknowledged that it was shown to people in general in this scene, opened with his present name on 8 May 1983.
