Los Reyes Acozac

Los Reyes Acozac is one of the forty nine cities that make up the municipality of Tecamac, inside the northern place of the country of Mexico, bordering the municipality of Tizayuca in the country of Hidalgo. It belongs to the district of Otumba and is located at the peak of km 44 of the Mexico-Pachuca dual carriageway, at a scarce km of the aforementioned street, to the west. It is placed at an altitude of 2,250 meters above sea level.2 According to the II Population and Housing Count, completed by using the National Institute of Statistics and Geography in 2005, Los Reyes Acozac had a populace of 20,478 population, of which, nine,983 they had been men and 10,495 have been ladies.

Acozac, has its origin within the word Nahuatl. The translation of this phrase way "yellow water". This city receives its name, because it become placed on the shorelines of Lake Texcoco, whose conformation of the soil on this vicinity, the considerable majority is the Tepetate, while the water of the lake blended with the components of this rock, it became yellowish.
