About Lagos de Moreno
Lagos de Moreno is a city and its encompassing civil region of a similar name, situated in the extraordinary northeastern piece of the territory of Jalisco in Mexico. It is a piece of the macroregion of Bajio. At the 2010 registration the city had a population of 153,817 inhabitants, making it the 6th biggest city in the territory of Jalisco. The city fills in as the city seat of the district, which has a zone of 2,648.22 km² and a population of 153,817 inhabitants, and incorporates numerous other peripheral little networks, the biggest of which are Paso de Cuarenta San Miguel de Cuarenta and Los Azulitos.
Lagos de Moreno is infrequently known as the "Athens of Jalisco" due to the various essayists and writers who were born there. The city was renamed Lagos de Moreno in memory of extremist General Pedro Moreno 1775-1817, an establishing father of Mexico, who drove powers against Spain in the War of Mexican Independence.
