Huhi

Huhi Municipality is one of the 106 municipalities within the Mexican country of Yucatan containing 191.Sixty one rectangular kilometres of land and located roughly 70 kilometres southeast of the city of Merida. It is bounded on the north via Sanahcat, on the south by Sotuta and Tekit, and at the east and west by Kantunil Homun. The municipal president is elected for a 3-year time period. The metropolis council has 4 councilpersons, who function Secretary and councilors of tutorial and ecology; public services; and highways and safety. The Municipal Council administers the commercial enterprise of the municipality.

It is accountable for budgeting and fees and generating all required reports for all branches of the municipal management. Annually it determines instructional standards for colleges. The Police Commissioners make sure public order and safety. They are tasked with implementing regulations, distributing materials and administering rulings of general compliance issued with the aid of the council. Huhi acquired its Shield and Weapons Certification on 30 November 1997.
