About Durango Museum of Archeology Ganot-Peschard

The Durango Museum of Archeology Ganot-Peschard was worked toward the finish of the nineteenth century, in time it was used for family, printer, and files of the State.

This day is a piece of the verifiable landmarks of the National Institute of Anthropology and History INAH. It was rebuilt in 1998 with a venture by the Historian Javier Guerrero Romero and the Architect Juan Águila.

The region was opened on August 3, of that year with the goal of safeguarding and spreading the archeological legacy of Durango, and that of the territory of Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco.

It has a perusing corridor and seven lasting lobbies called: Physical Environment, Paleo-Indian and Archaic Cultures, Loma San Gabriel Culture, Chalchihuites and Guadiana Cultures. Aztatlán Culture, Cave Painting Art, and The Archeological Method.
