About Desert Museum
The Desert Museum is a gallery in Saltillo, Coahuila, that advances a natural culture. It was planned by the engineer Francisco Lopez Guerra and was initiated on 25 November 1999. It has a huge accumulation of fossils and plants and incorporates autochthonous creatures of the Mexican desert. The Museum of the Desert was introduced on 25 November 1999 by then-President Ernesto Zedillo and furthermore the executives of the Amigos del Desierto de Coahuila establishment.
The task was expected to advance a natural culture by demonstrating the abundance of life and the development of species through time in an intuitive manner. The task was imagined in the 90's the point at which they started to make significant revelations in the region of about the geography, human studies, fossil science and science in the district, as a major aspect of a joint effort in all these work territories. The historical center is partitioned into four primary structures with various subjects. The desert and its past, Man and the desert: A space of gatherings, Evolution and biodiversity, The research center of life.
