About Christ of Taxco
The Monumental Christ of Taxco or Christ Taxqueno is a grand statue of 5 meters high, in addition to 5 of base, situated in the high piece of the Cerro de Atachi, in the town of Taxco, Mexico. The statue looks with great enthusiasm at Taxco from the top like a light. Development started in January and finished in September of the year 2002, following 8 months of work. The model started to be worked in January and finished 8 months after the fact in September 2002, amid the time of legislature of the previous city president, Isaac Ocampo Fernandez.
