Cansahcab

Cansahcab Municipality is a little 146.90 km² districts in the Mexican province of Yucatan found about 50 km southeast of the state capital of Merida. The civil president is chosen for a three-year term. The town chamber has four councilpersons, who fill in as Secretary and councilors of biology, open administrations and open security.

Prior to the entry of the Spanish, the territory had a place with the chieftainship of Ah Kin Chel. After the victory the zone turned out to be a piece of the encomienda framework. One of the encomenderas was Bantulia Sosa de Rivero, who in 1700 had obligation depended for the consideration of 250 indigenous inhabitants. Yucatan proclaimed its autonomy from the Spanish Crown in 1821 and in 1825, the territory was alloted to the Izamal Municipality. In 1913 it was assigned as its own district.
