About Alvarado
Alvarado is a town in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The city also serves as the municipal seat for the encompassing municipality of the equal name. It is located 64 km from the town of Veracruz, Veracruz, on Federal Highways 180 and 120. Alvarado is bordered through Boca del Rio, Tlalixcoyan, Medellin, Ignacio de l. A. Llave, Ciudad Lerdo de Tejada, Tlacotalpan and Acula. It is 10 m above sea degree.
It lies within the so called Region Papaloapan bordered on the south by means of the municipalities of Acula, Tlacotalpan and Lerdo de Tejada, at the east via the Gulf of Mexico and on the west with the aid of Ignacio de los angels Llave.
