About Almoloya
Almoloya de Juarez is a town in the State of Mexico and the seat of the region of Almoloya de Juarez. The name Almoloya originates from the Nahuatl, that is appropriately Almoloyan, made out of: atl, "water"; molo "unoriginal voice of moloni, to stream the source" and yan, "place"; that it signifies "place where streams the water source". The town fills in as the business supply community for the territorial rural and domesticated animals tasks. The Penal del Altiplano most extreme security government jail is found roughly 6 km north of the town; it is notorious to the point, that the whole town of "Almoloya" is related with the jail, and "being sent to Almoloya" is synonymous for being sent there.
The region is situated in the area I Toluca, has a place with the XIV legal and rentistico district with its seat in the State Capital, to which the regions of Toluca, Metepec, Temoaya, Villa Victoria and Zinacantepec compare. It is a city similar to its encompassing district in Zone I of the Mexican province of Mexico. The district is found just toward the north-west of state capital Toluca and had a population of 126,483 in the 2005 enumeration.
