About Thinadhoo
Thinadhoo is the capital of Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll and the proposed capital for the Upper South Province of the Maldives. It has its personal dialect of Dhivehi that's appreciably special from northern and mid-Maldivian speech. The island become formerly called Hau Thinadhoo and it became the traditional seat of the Atoll Chief. Written history of the island is sparse, however Thinadhoo is understood to have a rich records. It is advised in stories that Thinadhoo reverted from Islam shortly after conversion. This is probably to be a political circulate on the way to establish a army career as there is no evidence of practice of Buddhism after the conversion.
