About The Brooke Gallery
The Brooke Gallery at Fort Margherita, was formally opened on September 24, 2016 comparing with the 175th remembrance of the building up of State. Housed in a Fort named after James Brooke's better half, Rani Margherita, the show's irreplaceable recorded reports, antiquated rarities and articulations from the White Rajah's chance, wrapped in drench history and shielded in time.
The show also fuses new alternative, for instance, a portrayal painting of Rentap painted by the area skilled worker, Alena Murang, outlining the man who was a legend to a couple and a scoundrel to others. This show was a joint endeavor of the Sarawak Museum Department, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and Mr. Jason Brooke, the grandson of the last Rajah Muda and the Director of The Brooke Trust.
