Redang Island
About Redang Island
Redang Island is an island in Kuala Nerus District, Terengganu, Malaysia. It is one of the biggest islands off the east bank of Peninsular Malaysia. It is renowned for its completely clear waters and white sandy shorelines. It is one of nine islands, which shape a marine asylum stop offering swimming and plunging open doors for travelers. As opposed to the neighboring Perhentian Islands, Redang has a more upmarket picture, as all convenience on the island is resort-based. The biggest shoreline is Pasir Panjang on the east side, including about six resorts. The shoreline is secured with delicate white sand.
Coral and fish can be seen only a couple of meters from the shoreline. The other shoreline resorts are situated in Teluk Dalam on the north and Teluk Kalong toward the south. Redang has a tropical atmosphere with temperatures consistently around 30 °C 86 °F and continuous however short rainstorms. Like whatever remains of Malaysia's east drift, Redang is influenced by the upper east storm from the South China Sea, so most resorts are shut and ship transport plans are seriously confined among October and March. Since 2012, the yearly Island Music Festival has been facilitated on the island each October. It highlights numerous provincial and global social, nature, sports and music exercises.
