The next attraction of this wonderful vicinity is the famous Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. More than 3000 birds from 200 species are found here. The other two residual parks are the Deer Park Kuala Lumpur and the Butterfly Park Kuala Lumpur. The Butterfly Park is the home to around 6000 butterflies from more than 120 diverse species. The Deer Park also houses numerous species of deer for tourists to spot and feed. Just opposite the Lake Gardens, you can see the National Monument Kuala Lumpur. If you have got some leisure time, have a glimpse of it and ramble around this historical site of Malaysia. It will take long hours to see all the sites of this park, as said earlier the area is quite vast. Transportation facility is available here that can take you around the whole park at a minimum cost. The vicinity around the Lake Gardens houses the National Mosque as well as the Islamic Art Museum. But, visiting all the spots in a single day can be a quite challenging job.
