The Han Jiang Ancestral Temple was produced in 1870 by the Penang Teochew Association. The Teochew, vagrants from Chaozhou in Guangdong zone, are one of the six guideline Chinese tongue groups in Malaysia
Han Jiang Ancestral Temple is the fundamental Teochew-style asylum in Georgetown. The asylum is focused on the Taoist God of the North, a Teochew supporter god.
