About Cameron Highlands
The Cameron Highlands is a locale in Pahang, Malaysia involving a region of 712.18 square kilometers 274.97 sq mi. Toward the north, its limit contacts that of Kelantan; toward the west, it imparts some portion of its fringe to Perak. Arranged at the northwestern tip of Pahang, the "Camerons" is around 90 kilometers 56 mi from Ipoh, approximately 200 kilometers 120 mi from Kuala Lumpur or around 355 kilometers 221 mi from Kuantan, the capital of Pahang. It is the littlest district in the state.
Reviewed by geologist William Cameron in 1885, the station comprises of three mukims subdistricts, in particular Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Ulu Telom. Its eight settlements are Ringlet, Tanah Rata the managerial focus, Brinchang, the Bertam Valley, Kea Farm, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja. All are settled at rises extending from 800 meters 2,600 ft to 1,603 meters 5,259 ft above ocean level. Created in the 1930s, the tableland is one of the most established visitor spots in Malaysia. Aside from its tea homes, the level is additionally noted for its cool climate, plantations, nurseries, farmlands, cascades, waterways, lakes, untamed life, overgrown woods, green, inns, spots of love, homes, Land Rovers, exhibition hall and its natives Orang Asli.
