Batu Gajah is a region in Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. It is the capital of Kinta District. Acclaimed for its tin mining some time before the Independence Day of Malaya, Batu Gajah had been a perfect place for Chinese foreigners to remain and work amid those years. The Sultan of Perak DYMM Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuf Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah is a former student of this school.
