About An-Nur Jamek Mosque
The An Nur Jamek Mosque or Masjid Jamek An Nur or now and again called Masjid Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan or State Federal Territory of Labuan Mosque is the main mosque in the Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia. The mosque was opened on 1 February 1988 by the eighth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Iskandar of Johor related to the fourteenth Federal Territory Day. The building configuration was by Arkitek Jurubina Bertiga driven by Dato Baharuddin Abu Kassim. The blend design are from Brunei Malay engineering components blend with the Turkish engineering.
