About Corniche El Manara
It is the most famous coastline promenade in Beirut. Covered with palm trees, it offers an extraordinary perspective of the Mediterranean Sea, and in addition, a portion of the nation's best resources, to be specific the scandalous Pigeon Rock, and the summits of Mount Lebanon on the eastern side.
Toward the north of Pigeon Rock, you can recognize the old Ferris Wheel, still dynamic right up 'til the present time. Worked amid the season of the French Mandate of Syria and Lebanon, the Corniche has its beginnings in the Avenue des Francais, otherwise called the Ave de Paris, and was built along the Beirut waterfront.
