Lake Issyk

Issyk is a pleasant, high lake encompassed by surprisingly delightful nature of thick woods and extensive bloom fields.

The lake is situated at an elevation of 1760 meters above ocean level, in the Issyk chasm of Trans-Ili Alatau, around 70 km east of Almaty.

A cross on a slope close to the lake was raised to recognize the casualties. The memory of the catastrophe still influences the heart to shrivel even at this point.

The youthful trees grew in the place once used to be the lake base, the vestiges on the lower lakeside and colossal rocks fill in as a consistent indication of what has happened.

Today, the lake is reestablished, yet its size is twice littler than the past one. The lake domain is exceptionally reasonable for admirers of dynamic mountain tourism, and everyone who needs to have an excursion to the ends of the week.
