About Yumeji Art Museum
Yumeji Art Museum is a workmanship historical center in Okayama Prefecture split between the Honkan in Okayama and the Yumeji Seika and Shonen Sanso worked in Setouchi, the origination of Takehisa Yumeji. The Yumeji Seika is where Takehisa grew up. It was changed over into a gallery in 1970. It was given authority status as a workmanship historical center in 1979 and that same year the Shonen Sanso, a recreation of his Tokyo studio with the assistance of his child, Fujihiko Takehisa. The Shonen Sanso highlights huge numbers of Takehisa's self-pictures and photography.
The Honkan was worked in Okayama close Karaku-en to house crafted by the Japanese craftsman Takehisa Yumeji in 1984, 100 years after his introduction to the world.
