About Usuki Castle
Usuki Castle is a Japanese palace in Usuki, Oita Prefecture, Japan. This chateau was developed by Otomo Sorin in 1562 on the island Nyu-jima, in Usuki Bay as his head stronghold. Amid the 1560s, Surin had the biggest region in Kyushu. Be that as it may, after annihilation at the Battle of Mimikawa in 1578, the intensity of Sorin and the Otomo family quickly declined. In 1586, this mansion tumbled to Shimazu Yoshihiro, a daimyo of Kagoshima, yet was protected by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
With vertical bluffs the island had extraordinary potential for guard, so it was picked to be the base camp by Otomo Sorin who moved here after the stronghold was finished in 1562 after first leaving his child responsible for Funai Castle, a little toward the north. Today the castle grounds are home to a wonderful park with perspectives over the town and is famous amid cherry bloom season. The fundamental entryway of Usuki Castle was remade in 2001, and two unique turrets still stand. There is a pretty sanctum and patio nursery in the grounds and a reproduction of the Kunikuzushi gun.
