Toride

Toride is a metropolis placed in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. As of September 2015, the town had an estimated population of 106,691, and a population density of 1530 persons consistent with km². Its general region is 69.94 km². Toride evolved in the Edo period as a post town on the Mito Kaido dual carriageway connecting Edo with Mito. Toride metropolis changed into created with the established order of the municipalities device on April 1, 1889. It was multiplied to town reputation on October 1, 1970.

On March 28, 2005, the neighboring metropolis of Fujishiro from Kitasoma District turned into merged into Toride, almost doubling its size. Due to its proximity to Tokyo, Toride is increasingly more a bed room community for the Tokyo metropolis. Toride has ten public and one private fundamental faculties, six public and non-public middle faculties and five public and private excessive colleges. In addition, the Tokyo University of the Arts keeps a campus at Toride.
