About Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum
The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum is a craftsmanship gallery in Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition hall is situated in Minato Ward, only east of Meguro Station. The Art Deco building, finished in 1933, has insides planned by Henri Rapin and highlights enhancing glass work by René Lalique.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum building was beforehand the living arrangement of Prince Asaka Yasuhiko and his family from 1933 to 1947. The ruler, who learned at the École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr in France, and made a trip to the United States in 1925, was extraordinarily captivated by the Art Deco development.
