About Tokushima Castle Ruins
The Tokushima Castle Ruins, consistent with their name, are manor ruins on Tokushima that go back to the thirteenth century. At first this was just a little palace, yet after Toyotomi Hideyoshi vanquished Shikoku, his vassal's youngster Hachisuka Iemasa developed the mansion. It later fell under the territory of Tokugawa Ieyasu. The Hachisuka family served the Tokugawa shogunate for a long time, obliging Tokushima and Awajishima for 14 ages.
Tokushima Castle was the memorable living arrangement of the Hachisuka family, however it was torched amid World War 2. The at present existing "washinomon" entryway is a reproduction of the former one. It merits referencing that occupants and guests come here each spring to appreciate the lovely cherry blooms. The mansion ruins are directly alongside various different attractions, including the Tokushima Castle Museum, Omotegoten Garden of Old Tokushima Castle, and a rose patio nursery. Must visit this place with your friends, family.
