About Toga Shrine
Toga Shrine is a Shinto shrine in the metropolis of Toyokawa in jap Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is the ichinomiya of former Mikawa Province. Located on the borderland of Aichi with Shizuoka Prefecture, the summit of Mount Honga 782 metres 2,566 toes is considered to be within the precincts of the shrine, and has a subsidiary chapel. The origins of Toga Shrine are unknown. The shrine claims to have been founded inside the Taih duration 701-704 AD through Emperor Mommu. It is located in an area of japanese Mikawa with a positive climate, which has been settled on the grounds that at the least the Jsmon length.
One of the treasures of the shrine is a Yayoi period dataku bronze bell, probable recovered from a burial mound inside the place. The shrine is stated because the ichinomiya of Mikawa Province within the Engishiki information from the early Heian duration. However, repeated fires and different screw ups over the centuries have destroyed all the old shrine records and homes.
