Tanushimaru

Tanushimaru was a city placed in Ukiha District, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the town had an estimated populace of 21,204 and a density of 415.85 persons consistent with km². The general area changed into 50.99 km². On February 5, 2005, Tanushimaru, in conjunction with the city of Kitano from Mii District, and the cities of Jojima and Mizuma each from Mizuma District, was merged into the increased metropolis of Kurume and now not exists as an unbiased municipality.

Tanushimaru is domestic to seven nice standard schools, Mino, Mizuwake, Takeno, Shibakari, Tanushimaru, Kawaii, and Funagoshi, in addition to Tanushimaru Middle School and Ukiha Technical High School. Until currently Tanushimaru become labeled as a part of Ukiha-Gun. Close ties stay with the neighboring metropolis of Ukiha, specially with Yoshii city.
