About Taki-no Castle
Taki-no Castle, truly signifies "cascade stronghold", is a flatland-peak Japanese chateau ruin situated in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. It was on a key course between the northern Kanto Plain and Hachioji. The latest structure was worked in the fifteenth century by Oishi Sadahisa and existed amid the sixteenth century Sengoku Period of Japanese history. In 1546, the Hojo of Odawara took control and in 1569 belonging go to the Takeda. After 1590, the manor was relinquished at the same time with the landing of Tokugawa Ieyasu into the area, having outlasted its motivation.
The manor is currently a ruin with clear archeological proof of the establishments of a number structures and a dry canal. The chateau name "Taki-no-jo", which actually signifies "cascade palace" is because of a cascade that exists on the eastern piece of the stronghold grounds. The palace grounds currently structure a recreational park including strolling ways, a youngsters' play region and a baseball field. The recreation center is called Taki-no-jo Castle Site Park.
