Suzaka

Suzaka is a town placed in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 October 2016, the city had an envisioned population of 50,388, and a population density of 337 folks in keeping with km². Its overall region is 149.6 rectangular kilometres 57.8 squaremi. Suzaka is positioned in former Shinano Province and turned into a fortress city for Suzaka Domain beneath the Edo period Tokugawa shogunate. In the publish-Meiji restoration cadastral reform of April 1,1 1889, the current metropolis of Suzaka was hooked up.

Suzuka annexed the village of Hitaki on December 1, 1936 and the villages of Hino and Toyosu on February eleven, 1954. Suzaka was increased to metropolis status on April 1, 1954. On January 1, 1955, Suzaka annexed the neighbouring villages of Inoue and Takahe, observed by the village of Azuma on April 30, 1971. Suzaka has 11 public simple colleges and 4 public center faculties operated by the city authorities, and three public high colleges operated by means of the Nagano Prefectural Board of Education.
