Shiojiri

Shiojiri is a town located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of one October 2016, the city had an envisioned population of 66,801, and a populace density of 230 folks consistent with km². Its total location is 289.98 square kilometres. Shiojiri is placed in former Shinano Province, and as its name implies, was traditionally a centre for salt manufacturing. During the Edo duration, Shiojiri-shuku and Seba-juku evolved as submit stations at the Nakasendo dual carriageway connecting Edo with Kyoto.
