About Shimogamo Shrine
Shimogamo Shrine and Kamigamo Shrine are both seen as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are two of the most goal and most settled asylums in Kyoto. Shimogamo Shrine is arranged at the crossing point of the Takano and Kamo conduits.
It is enveloped by the Tadasu no Mori, a forest which was ensured in the midst of the modernization of the city and contains trees that are up to 600 years old. Kamigamo Shrine stays around three and a half kilometers upriver from Shimogamo Shrine. It is striking for two sand cones on its grounds that serve a cleaning work for the place of love, and have been made usually since old-fashioned conditions.
