About Sasayama Castle

Sasayama Castle is a Japanese manor in Sasayama, Hyogo, Japan. Development was started by the request of Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1608, and it was finished in a half year. Ikeda Terumasa was accountable for the development; the arrangement of the palace was finished by Todo Takatora. It is said that 20 daimyos were prepared for the development. The manor was so very much structured that Ieyasu directed that the tenshu, or keep, not be built in light of the fact that he expected that it would be utilized as a base against him.
